He received his formal education at the National Technical University of Athens and he is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece. Since his first solo exhibition in 1988, his work has been presented in many group exhibitions and 7 solo shows and he has received international awards and distinctions. He has published 3 albums and 4 Artbooks, while many of his works are in public and private collections.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Costas Vittis composes his narrative with photographic allegories and symbolic images, which come from his thoughts, observations, and personal experiences and express the core of human existence.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>In his recent work, under the title \u00abSine qua non\/Without which, not\u00bb presented by the art gallery Ikastikos Kiklos DL, Costas Vittis deals with the multifaceted nature of human beings and how he perceives the many, He has published 3 albums and 4 Artbooks, while many of his works are in public and private collections.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>In a large solo exhibition-installation in the Technopolis (Gazi) 1996, he presented his work \u00abMetamorphoses\u00bb, an elegy on the aesthetic idea of femininity with enigmatic female figures and allegorical representations on gigantic photo prints en-fenced in concrete reinforced steel grids with synchronized sound and light interventions via computer.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>In the period 2007-2016, the artist makes an attempt to achieve the decomposition of the form, creating photographic images where the compact mass of matter is set aside to give way to CLEAN LIGHT.
