About
Beach. One Day. Becoming – Light, visual artist Kostas Vittis explores the body, memory, and lived experience through photography, video art, and philosophy, formulating his own questions concerning time, identity, and existence.
Vittis’s photographic figures reject static boundaries, contours, and ultimately anything that confines or attempts to define them. Freed from rigid structures and the expectations of descriptive representation, they transform into energy, acquiring an almost spiritual presence. Vittis depicts precisely this tension of transformation—the fluidity of identity, time, and ultimately memory—while, through the exhibition, he allows the viewer to follow this process of liberation step by step, work by work.
